We present a novel Monte Carlo based QKD simulator, developed to be the digital twin of the Quantum EncrYption and Science Satellite (QEYSSat). The simulator will be used to validate mission objectives, and generated predictions will be updated against real experimental data. Stochastic processes such as afterpulsing and recharge time are incorporated. |
