# QuantumDB

> QuantumDB is the curated database of the three main academic conferences in quantum information science: QIP (Quantum Information Processing, 1998–2026), QCrypt (Conference on Quantum Cryptography, 2011–2026) and TQC (Theory of Quantum Computation, Communication and Cryptography, 2006–2026). It is maintained by the International Association for Quantum Information (IAQI), which also hosts the archived conference websites (qip.iaqi.org, qcrypt.iaqi.org, tqc.iaqi.org). The data is free to use under CC0 1.0.

It currently holds 66 conference instances, 3371 talks, 7914 posters, 11679 authors and 2783 committee roles (programme, steering and organizing committees). Each conference also lists the figures announced at its business meeting (registrations, submissions, acceptance rates) when they are known. Data collection is ongoing: when something is missing, it usually just hasn't been entered yet.

Replace `qip-2015` with any `<venue>-<year>` (venues: `qip`, `qcrypt`, `tqc`)

- [GitHub repository](https://github.com/IAQI/QuantumDB): the source-of-truth CSVs live in `data/conferences/<venue>_<year>/` (`committees.csv`, `talks.csv`, `posters.csv`, `business_meeting.csv`; TQC uses `proceedings.csv` and `workshop.csv`). Schemas are in `data/README.md` and provenance in `data/SOURCES.md`. The live exports above are generated from the database and include identifiers (author slugs, ORCIDs) that the CSVs lack
